MFUR executive members were honoured to attend the annual memorial luncheon hosted by the MFL Women’s Committee to mark the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.

Thirty-five years ago, on December 6, 1989, 14 young women were horrifically killed at Montreal’s Ecole Polytechnique.

Today, we gathered to honour their memory and the countless others lost as a result of gender-based violence.  We must never forget this tragedy and continue to work towards a safe and inclusive environment for all.
