CURC has made a submission to the Kaplan Industrial Inquiry Commission: Expanding Canada Post’s Services for a Stronger, More Inclusive Canada. The Inquiry has received over 900 submissions from organizations and individuals. The majority of these submissions have supported many of the activities we have been working with CUPW on over the last two years. "Delivering of Community Power" (Delivering Community Power) was our promotion at the last two Conferences of the Federation of Canadian Municipalities, speaking with hundreds of Councillors and Mayors from across the country.
We certainly encourage the Kaplan Inquiry to consider these programs moving forward.
